The first step is to send us your manuscript. You can send it as a typed, printed or even handwritten manuscript, on disk, or by email to info@athenapress.com.

If there is a reason why we cannot consider your book, we will let you know straight away. Otherwise, within two weeks you will receive a reader’s report on your book and a firm publication proposal.
There are usually four stages in our publishing process: editing, preparation of proofs, final proof checking, and sending to print.
The cover design and any illustrative or graphic material that the book may require is prepared in our own studio, and sent to you for your comments and approval with the proofs. We welcome any suggestions that you may have about the design for the cover or the general look of the book.
